The New Zealand Grassfed Sirloin Steak, otherwise known as the Striploin or NY Strip is a classic cut, and a crowd pleaser. Tender, with some marbling and a thin fat cap, flavourful and juicy - it is a must try.
A basic rustic cut. Thick and Juicy. Affordable and easy to cook. The thick layer of fat can be pan-seared and rendered to give this cut a beautiful flavour that enhances the natural goodness of the beef.

The New Zealand Grassfed Sirloin
- Cut originates from the hind quarters of the Cattle
- less to medium marbling with external fat
- Leaner, but tender and flavourful and juicy
- An all roudned steak that will not break the bank
- We recommend a minimum of 200g, as this gives a good thickness for a good steak
- Our Steaks are delivered vacuum packed for easy storage
- Cold chain is maintained to delivery

Doneness guide (approx)
- Rare (48°C Internal Temperature)
- Medium Rare (55°C Internal Temperature)
- Medium (60°C Internal Temperature)
- Medium Well (64°C Internal Temperature)
- Well Done (66°C Internal Temperature)
When Seared/ cooked to preferred doneness, render the fat cap, by standing steak on the fat cap, with fat resting on the pan, this will ensure that the external fat cap is crispy for a flavourful and aromatic steak
