New Zealand Point Cut Brisket

 

The New Zealand Grassfed Brisket, an often overlooked cut, is ideal for smoking or slow cooking on low indirect heat. A Tender and juicy cut, rich in flavour. For you slow cooking lovers, the Brisket makes an excellent choice for Beef Stew, beef Stroganoff and BBQ brisket. This cut may take a little longer tender loving care, but the results are definitely worth it!

The New Zealand Grassfed Point Cut Brisket

  • Cut originates from the area just below the Chuck of the Cattle (the Chest of the Cattle) 
  • 300g of Brisket is a good portion per person
  • Little marbling, with external fat (keep external fat when slow cooking)
  • A tender and juicy flavourful cut
  • Our Steaks are delivered vacuum packed for easy storage

When smoking or slow cooking a brisket be sure to leave all the fat on so it renders down to provide additional flavour to the brisket
